Ak Movers

Excellent moving service in the DC area. Timely, professional and organized movers!

AK movers did an amazing job! They were on time and delicate with all of my furniture.

The best moving service in the DMV! They helped me with my move from Columbia to Washington D.C. Art is a great communicator and even reached out to me after hours when I brought up an issue I had. Very flexible, simple and the price was great compared to other movers. Professional and highly prepar...

AK movers have made a stressful time a breeze. They were efficient and worked carefully to ensure our items made it from DC to Norfolk in one piece. They did NOT surge the price beyond what we were quoted after packing our items, despite loading taking longer than expected. They communicated effecti...

It was a pleasure moving with AK movers! It was easy to set up our move with Art, and Jorge, Yuri, and Nick were so helpful and efficient on moving day. Would highly recommend!

I’ve used this company twice for moves and both times the service was outstanding from start to finish. They were very prompt in responding to my inquiry and the estimate was very accurate. They arrived on time and completed the job quickly.

Within an hour of contacting Art and his team to unload a 1bd aptmt, he arrived professionally and with all necessary equipment. I have a good amount of belongings and it took two men about an hour and 45 mins to completely move everything in. All items were moved with care and efficiency. There’s l...

I would give 6 stars if I could! Nick and Yuri just finished our move from apartment to single family home and not only were they extremely efficient in packing up our furniture and boxes, but they also helped with other odds and ends, like helping to remove our curtain rods and move out a bed to th...

Art was very knowledgeable about the process with U box and had it not been for him and his very efficient team my experience would not have been so good. I commend his workers who were very professional, and quick. I was very concerned about my new bedroom and they handled it with kid gloves....

Jorge and Yure were amazing. Moved from Rockville to North Potomac. They came in and got everything loaded so quickly. Got all of my stuff unloaded and reassembled in record time. Very reasonable pricing. Would definitely recommend and use again!

I had a short time frame to move a studio full of furniture and boxes (lots of books!), and the AK Movers team did a fast, efficient job of packing my stuff into their truck, driving it from Baltimore to the edge of DC, and unloading it all within the morning and at a great cost. Thank you!

AK Movers was efficient and very great at moving our things. No damage and they disassembled very big and heavy couch and moved it without problems. Highly recommend!!

This has been the best moving company that I have ever hired (and I have lived in this area for over 40 years). The team showed up early. They worked continuously for 3 and 1/2 hours and never took a break. The value was excellent. They even assembled my tables for me. So very grateful for their hel...

I have used them twice already. My parents have a lot of stuff (two fridges) and books. Filled out 17 ft truck top to bottom and they worked so hard and finished everything in 4 hours. I will always come back to hire them again and recommend them to everyone.

This move from MD to VA was exceptionally easy. No stress. The price that we got was affordable compared to other moving companies with no hidden fees, and the movers were excellent. Art was our point of contact and he made things very simple. The movers we got, Carlos and Jorge were both very st...

The service was fantastic. I moved from one side of Baltimore to the other. The guys gave me a great price and didn't try to haggle me. I appreciate that they moved my furniture and packed everything and it took less than a full day for a two bedroom apartment. I always like a full included price, a...

I bought a large sectional sofa on Facebook Marketplace. I had planned to rent a U-Haul and have my sons help me bring home the "new" sofa. I also needed my existing sectional sofa removed. In short, AK Movers picked up the new sofa and delivered it to my home, then disposed of my old sofa. Everythin...

This is my SECOND time hiring AK, and ONCE AGAIN, they came through with flying colors!!! The crew showed up right on time and got right to work. They knew exactly what they were doing from the start. Disassembly and reassembly was a breeze, nothing was broken and the crew was very friendly. I could...

These guys are the best. Excellent service and reasonable! Would definitely use again. The AK team definitely delivered on our move from DC to Rockville.

AK movers did a terrific job with my move. Booked with less than 2 weeks notice, they packed everything and moved me 300 miles, same day. Very fair price. Friendly, helpful service with great attention to detail. I highly recommend them.

Used AK Movers for Baltimore to Northern Virginia move and was very pleased with the service. Very professional, efficient and cost-effective movers. I highly recommend and would use these guys again!
