The basics of using MoverScout.
What MoverScout is
MoverScout is a directory of licensed moving companies. We publish licensing, insurance and safety data sourced from public federal FMCSA records, together with reviews aggregated from Google, Yelp and reviews submitted directly by our users. MoverScout is not a moving company, and we don't perform moves ourselves.
No guarantee of accuracy
We aggregate data from third-party and government sources and update it periodically — it may lag behind what's currently live on the original source. Always verify licensing and insurance directly with a mover, and confirm current details before booking any move.
Quotes and third-party movers
When you submit a quote request, we pass your information to the relevant moving company (or companies) so they can contact you directly. Any agreement, pricing or service you arrange is between you and that moving company — MoverScout is not a party to it and isn't responsible for the quality of a company's moving services.
Reviews
Reviews submitted on MoverScout must reflect a genuine experience. We moderate submissions before publishing and may remove reviews that are fake, abusive, or violate these terms.
Acceptable use
Don't scrape, misuse or attempt to disrupt the site, impersonate another person or business, or submit false information through our forms.
