Bates Moving & Storage Co INC

The team from Bates Moving & Storage - Cameron, Robert, Ray, and Bobby - did an excellent job packing up our 2,825 sq. ft. home for our cross country move! If we could give them higher than 5 stars, we certainly would! They worked well together and got the job done in a timely manner! They took thei...

If I could give them a higher rating we would... 5 stars is not enough to express the quality, care and professional service provided by our moving team. This is the second time we worked with Aaron & Cameron. Beyond their knowledge and skill in moving some difficult pieces with ease, they treated u...

We recently moved from Delaware to South Carolina and our experience with Bates Moving from start to finish was absolutely fantastic! 5 stars aren't enough, they deserve 10! This is a family run business and the attention they provided through every position and level of the organization can't be be...

** HANDS DOWN ** Three moves in the last eight months and this company and it’s movers are THE BEST we have ever had! Professional, incredible service, put furniture only where you want it. Brought two trucks to move us from a large storage unit just in case! Priced at or below everyone else and awe...

John, Bobby, and Aaron from Bates Moving and Storage did the local delivery for my United snap move from across the country. It was a terrible day weather-wise - lots of rain, wind, and cold - but despite those challenges, they did an A+ exceptional job. They were careful and respectful, communica...

We used Bates to move my Mother In Law from MD to Jacksonville. They were very responsive and did a remote estimate since they could not go onsite. Their quote was accurate and 1/2 what others wanted (including the POD option). The office kept us informed every step of the way and the movers were ef...

I give this company 5 stars all the way! As a person who had only moved twice before and had no idea what I was doing, they made it super easy and definitely worth the money. They were responsive and knowledgeable when I called, and when they came out for the estimate. They were cheaper than the oth...

They were able to help out with a office furniture move up stairs the same day I called. Extremely friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

Great service, great price. 1/3 the price of 2 Men and Truck, while being more polite and more timely. Moved my Mom into assisted living. They had an "opening" so we needed to move ahead quirkily. It was, just a few items. Movers were fast, nice, and efficient. Infesting I work for Bates, when I...

I can't say enough about Bates! Not only did all of our belongings arrive in excellent condition it was done professionally and with friendly, hardworking men! We hit a snag moving in as the owners did not leave until 4:00..... that didn't stop Bates!! They moved us in even though it would be a...

Bates Moving and Storage has outstanding service! They are timely, careful, considerate, helpful, and more. From beginning to end, the entire business was great. I couldn't ask for a better mover.

Bates moved me here to Ohio from Delaware 6 months ago. I should have written a review before this, but ... stuff happens. This is the best company for moving that I have ever experienced. And I've moved A LOT. The entire crew - office, driver, loaders - treated me and my property with the utmost re...

I could not be happier with my experience with Bates Moving & Storage. I used their services several years ago and when I contacted them for a second move, they exceeded expectations. The entire team was professional, helpful and communicated every detail regarding the move of my furniture. The team...

They arrived exactly as promised and scheduled. And they were fantastic. They managed to fit everything into 2 containers as I hoped. Did an excellent job. Very polite and efficient hard workers. Great hard working crew. The best moving crew I have ever experienced. And I have moved many, way too...

United agent Bates Moving in Salisbury, Maryland did a fantastic job for our inter-state move from Maryland's Eastern Shore to southeast Virginia. The preplanning, estimating, delivery of packing supplies all went smoothly, as did the actual Moving Days. Our full house required two vans and Bates we...

I have never moved out of state before. I contacted Bates Moving. They talked me through the entire process. Not only did Bates make everything work out but they made moving an enjoyable process. Special thanks goes out to Brandon who delivered our belongings to us. This man went way ab...

Bates Moving did a great job moving us from Tilghman Island to Key West. They successfully dismantled and transported a large grand piano, along with a houseful of furniture, without scratching or damaging anything. At the destination, where local labor is scarce, they managed to get expert worker...

Bates Moving is incredible. They moved my elderly parents from their home in Ocean Pines to assisted living in Philadelphia. This was not a straight forward move as some items were staying in their home and others were being moved to assisted living. Donna in the office and with whom I shared num...

Excellent company, excellent staff! As far as I am concerned, they are the only reputable mover in town. Don't be fooled (like I almost was) by the other guys who will show up at your house with a rental truck and some sketchy helpers. Do your homework before you choose! I can honestly say that With...

I have moved many times over the years and Bates was the worst. I only moved across the bridge from Salisbury to the DC metro area. The packers did a marvelous job, nothing was broken or lost. However the crew that moved my furniture did a horrible job. Almost every piece of wood furniture I own is...

The office staff is extremely friendly and everything was performed fast and timely. Two guys loaded a two-bedroom place in about an hour and unloaded at the new place in the same amount of time. Rates are a little high, the movers are a bit impersonal, and your email address is used for spam. Howev...
