Blake & Sons Moving & Storage INC

Blake & Sons are hands down the best movers! They have moved us four times and are CONSISTENTLY prompt, efficient and hard working. Our family has never been disappointed and we will ALWAYS recommend them. Juan Carlos, Wilmer and Eduardo were on top of it today. Thank you again!!

Carlos, Eduardo, and Ricardo were great with our move. They helped pack up loose ends and provided extra boxes when we needed them. They were swift, careful, and energized and finished our move in the estimated time. Highly recommend!

We recently hired Blake & Sons Moving and Storage for our move from Rockville, Maryland to Alexandria, Virginia, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The entire team demonstrated a level of professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail that sets them apart in the moving in...

My experience with Blake & Sons was nothing but positive from the time I called for the first quote on a move. Carolyn and Shannon were very friendly and accommodating and answered all of my questions very patiently. The movers, Luis and Jose, were on-time, efficient, friendly, and professional thro...

We had a great experience with Blake & Sons. The communication with Shannon was quick, and she was very helpful in getting our move scheduled. We were very impressed with our day-of team. Jan Carlo, Ricardo, Eduardo, Walter, Wilmer, and Rodolfo were all top notch. They were prompt, efficient, kind,...

Picking movers is kind of like buying a used car when your car is on the side of the road smoking: you know you’re doing to get screwed. Bad analogy, but picking movers always feels like you’re going to get played somehow; slow movers, crazy pricing/sneaky fees, etc. I never experienced that with Bl...

This is the second time we have used Blake & Sons and have been incredibly happy both times. JC Reyes and Hugo were so helpful and did a great job throughout the day making the entire process smooth and easy. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs to move!

Blake and Sons moving was just amazing. From Carolyn who was the sweetest on the phone, to Tom who gave me a really accurate estimate, to Nick who scheduled me quickly and efficiently, to Jan Carlos, Wilber, and Hugo who did an amazing job packing and moving. They were quick, efficient, and so profe...

Blake & Sons did my interstate move in early February and it was a great experience. Even before the move they make a very good impression. The estimate amount was not exceeded; conversations with Carolyn were always helpful and lovely; getting free used boxes was really good. The team came on time,...

Update: Shannon reached out and proved that the company does not agree with the foreman's action. I would highly recommend Shannon as the point of contact at blake and sons. Also please do yourself a favor and specifically ask to not have Reiss as the foreman of your moving crew.It would have been a...

I'm not one to leave the reviews, but I felt it absolutely necessary after our experience with Blake & Sons. Carolyn was so kind and patient during my initial call with several questions I had. Her quote was spot-on. Hugo, Luis, and Jose were professional, understanding, and thoughtful during the mo...

We did two moves with Blake & Sons in Rockville, MD. Both went smoothly and actual times/charges came in under the estimates. The first crew was fine; the company reimbursed me promptly for one item that was damaged in the first move. The crew for the second move was much better! They were poli...

My father passed away in March and we needed a mover to help pack up and clear out his apartment, with some things going locally here in MD and others being hauled up to Vermont. My experience with Blake & Sons was absolutely first-rate and flawless from start to finish. On the office end of things, w...

We couldn't be more pleased with the moving service that Blake & Sons Moving & Storage provided. They arrived just on the early side of the expected range of their time for arrival (9:50 a.m. at a time estimated to be between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.). They packed both quickly and carefully. They had me t...

I came from Texas to help a family member with a move that included using items from and returning others to storage, plus donating things no longer needed. Everyone associated with this company is professional, kind, prompt, careful, and expeditious. Plus management is thorough and timely with comm...

Excellent movers. It's the first time we have ever used movers and we were apprehensive about the process. We've heard horror stories from our friends about their experience with other moving companies. Blake and Sons put our minds at ease and made the process as easy as it could be. Had great custo...

A few years ago the floors were being replaced in our apartment and the developer hired Blake & Sons to move us in and out of our apartment. They packed everything (all the furniture, clothing, household items and art of a two bedroom apartment) and three weeks later bought it back. Nothing was dama...

Excellent customer service, pricing was fair and competitive. They did the job well and on time. Would definitely recommend.

I have used this service numerous times, and never been dissappointed with the service. They are a family owned business, that treats my moves like I'm part of the family. I like the "up front" pricing, which is a real bonus with this company. If you have ever had a moving company hold your furnitur...
