Local Movers in Laurel, MD

Excellent moving service from MN to NC in 2023. We are moving again and so contacted Metcalf to get a copy of our inventory/"cube sheet" from three years ago. They retrieved it from archives and emailed it to me. Beyond the call of duty.

We used Metropolitan Moving and Storage 11 years ago and I was extremely impressed then. Just used them for the second time, and can’t say enough good things. 6 men descended on my house and in under 3 hours had everything padded, wrapped, moved out and stowed on their trucks (we had pre-packed our...

I had an excellent experience with Johnson’s Piano Moving. They moved my piano to my office, and the entire process was handled professionally and with great care. The crew was punctual, efficient, courteous, and clearly experienced in handling pianos. They took great care of the instrument througho...

We recently worked with US1 movers to transport large furniture items from Jax to St Aug Beach and we are so glad to have worked with this team! Shari was on top of coordinating scheduling in a timeframe that worked for us and quickly/graciously rescheduled us when we had to change our initial move...

We hired Johnson Piano Moving to transport our upright piano from CT to MD, and the entire experience was excellent. From the start, coordination was professional, efficient, and clearly focused on getting us the best possible deal — pricing was outstanding for such a long-distance move. The moving...

We recently used Metropolitan Moving & Storage for our move, and they exceeded our expectations. This was a large move that included professional packing one day and moving the next. The crew worked incredibly hard from start to finish and treated our belongings and our new home with great care. Al...

This team is fantastic and did a great job for us. Highly recommend them for all your piano and organ moving needs.

Johnson Piano Moving is a company I have used several times to disassemble and reassemble my baby grand piano. The first time was so that workmen could service my bay window. The next time, to allow painters enough space to work, and another time to relocate the piano. The fourth time was to move a...

Mario and his crew were on time if not early in arriving, easy to work with and experienced. Their process of doing a walk through, assessing what to pack, packing items carefully and then returning the following day to move the items was excellent. They were so efficient that the move took about ha...

Had a great experience here. Went and tried a few of the used pianos, found one we liked, and it was in my home in less than 24 hours! No frills, no nonsense, and very reasonable. If only I had more pianos to buy or move!

I had an EXCELLENT experience with this company. They were very communicative, efficient, and thorough. I had an extra stop to pick up some items and they took care of it with zero problems. My money was WELL spent.

If I had known how easy it was, I would've moved my piano from my mom's house to mine much sooner! Seamless process, very polite staff, highly recommend.

They did a very great job with our piano move. They were very careful with the piano and are very professional and nice guys. I really appreciated that they attempted to put the Piano on a spider truck I bought. It was funny that they seemed to really not want to or like it very much. They were comp...

We just completed a very complicated move, or really a series of moves: staging a 4 BR house for sale (so lots of stuff moved out), while moving someone IN from a 1 BR apartment; then moving the rest of the contents into storage for two months; then moving all the stuff to a different state, just af...

Johnson’s Piano Movers were outstanding from start to finish. Great price, incredibly responsive, and true professionals on moving day. They treated the piano with real care, wrapped everything carefully, and made what could have been a stressful move completely easy. The crew was friendly, on time,...
