Bookstore Movers LLC

I had put a post on reddit asking for suggestions for movers in the area and Bookstore Movers was recommended by almost every person who responded. Patrick and his crew, Renaldo, Nitua, Gerand and Kevin, exceeded the already high expectations I had based upon the reviews. I will happily recommend...

Renting instead of owning is a lifestyle choice for us, and we tend to move every three or four years. After more than twenty-five years in DC, we’ve moved enough times to know exactly how these things usually go. Even with good movers, there is almost always something — a broken item, a misplaced d...

Bookstore Movers saved the day yesterday after All My Sons Moving and Storage left us stranded. We booked them at 3 PM yesterday, and were at our apartment by 6 PM and were all said and done with our move by 10:30 PM. I cannot recommend this moving company enough. They are quick, efficient, won't d...

I have used Bookstore movers twice now and both experiences have been great. The teams have been great communicators and work so hard to keep the move progressing efficiently. They were easy to book and their office team communicates proactively as well. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for...

I just moved with these guys yesterday, not a single scratch on anything, everything handled with care. I am very appreciative of the haul, especially as they lugged a couch up 7 flights of stairs and it barely was able to be maneuvered around the door.

Fantastic job! We could not have asked for a better experience. We moved offices and the the team was efficient, kind, professional, and very hard-working from start to finish.

I cannot recommend the folks at Bookstore Movers enough!!! They were professional, helpful, and very efficient. They moved our 3 bed 2 bath house in under 3 hours and not a single thing was broken or lost! They disassembled and reassembled our furniture as well. I hope to not move again anytime soon...

Josh and his team were incredible at moving, they have an effective system for loading the truck, and protecting your furniture. Definitely read and follow the Tips section on the website, that definitely pays off. I will recommend Bookstore movers to everyone, thank you!

Bookstore Movers were phenomenal! This was our first time hiring movers and it was the best experience I could ask for. The crew was incredibly efficient, careful with our furniture, and very friendly. They moved our 8 foot couch without blinking an eye and finished the move within the provided esti...

I cannot speak more highly of Bookstore Movers. We have used them twice and we are always so grateful for their work and so impressed! The team shows up and we got to talk through everything real quick, communication was great, and then they started hauling. Everything was treated with great care an...

We had a great experience with Bookstore Movers. Responsive and friendly staff. They took GREAT care of our stuff. Arrived at our new place on time. A great experience over all!

We have been here at our new home for about two weeks now and are almost entirely unpacked! I wanted to thank your team for their wonderful professionalism and great service. They truly exceeded our expectations in all ways. Not having done this in a dozen years, I was so stressed about how this was...

My moving team from Bookstore Movers really went above and beyond! I was feeling stressed before they arrived, but once they were here that all dissipated and they took care of everything. Also appreciative that the price I was quoted was the total in the end. (Not always the case with other movers...

I had occasion to use Bookstore Movers again, and once again they did an absolutely stellar job. An extremely professional and dependable outfit, very easy to work with when it comes to scheduling and logistics. The workers are fast, hardworking, experienced, and friendly. You absolutely cannot go w...

I moved this past weekend and hired Bookstore Movers for the job. I can honestly say I was blown away by the professionalism, efficiency, and expertise of the moving crew. I worked with a different moving company 2 years ago that left me scarred for life with how rude and unprofessional they were. I...

I've moved 4 times, and could only dream that every other company I used was as great as Bookstore Movers. Both the packing team and the moving team for my 3 bedroom house were extremely courteous, professional, and competent. They packed and moved my things with such care that you would have though...

Bookstore movers have assisted my daughter in moving around the DC area twice and this last time, I was with her for the process. This is a very competent, efficient and meticulously careful moving company! She had 3 movers, the lead was Patrick, and they wrapped her furniture and moved it so gentl...

Moving is a hassle. You have to put all your stuff in boxes, somehow get it to your new place and make sure your furniture stays in tact. All the while you're either doing it yourself or trusting a moving company to move your precious couches, TV and other stuff that you've accumulated and haven't M...

Best moving experience I've ever had. They moved us out of our 1 bedroom apartment in about 30 minutes and go us into our new home in about 40. The rumors you've heard about these guys professionalism and efficiency is true. Now that I've seen what a great moving experience looks like I won't cheap...

If it were possible to give Bookstore Movers six stars, I would. I recently used them to unload a 26' moving truck at a large apartment building. Booking on the phone was pleasant and professional. I made use of the $100 discount coupon seen here on Yelp, which in conjunction with their already reas...
