Moving and Storage in Lexington Park, MD

Excellent moving service from MN to NC in 2023. We are moving again and so contacted Metcalf to get a copy of our inventory/"cube sheet" from three years ago. They retrieved it from archives and emailed it to me. Beyond the call of duty.

We used Metropolitan Moving and Storage 11 years ago and I was extremely impressed then. Just used them for the second time, and can’t say enough good things. 6 men descended on my house and in under 3 hours had everything padded, wrapped, moved out and stowed on their trucks (we had pre-packed our...

I had Edwin, Milton, and Viktor, and they did a fantastic job. They got me all packed up and moved out of my apartment in just a few hours. They were very professional and packed everything with care. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for movers.

We relied on Bookstore Movers on one of the hottest days of the summer this year, and they were excellent. The movers were thorough, careful, and very kind throughout our move. We are so glad we chose them to help with our move!

I cannot express enough what a WONDERFUL experience & REASONABLE price! Communication was excellent & easy! Austin is a “Work Horse” running a phenomenal small business!! Very responsive & prepared for last minute changes to the load!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Bookstore Movers are the best! I’ve used them to move twice now. They are consistently efficient, thorough and calm. I was moving from a tight, one way street in a building with a manual service elevator and they took it all in stride! Cannot recommend highly enough!

I had an excellent experience with Ally Moving! I ended up booking my move at the last minute, and Alejandro was incredibly patient and thorough in explaining everything to me. I chose Ally Moving because of their very fair fixed-rate pricing, as well as how knowledgeable, responsive, and accommodat...

Great experience! From the office staff to the moving guys. All work was done professionally and the guys accommodated our every wish to set our furniture in different rooms. The moving guys moved us out of the old and into the new home with absolutely no wall damage or furniture damage. Great care...

Fantastic experience with Doyle moving services. Alex gave an accurate estimate and even followed up a few days before the move. During the move Kwanell, Kevin, and Josh did an awesome job and was very fast. I would recommend Doyle moving any day. Thank you for making a stressful move day simple!

What a great experience. Alex, Chris and the boys... along with the owner - Ryan - were great to deal with. From ordering up the services (very cool video app to build the quote and take inventory), to communication throughout the process (Pre order, order, post order, pre-delivery, delivery, and co...

From the initial walk through for estimate charges to the final piece of furniture loaded on the truck everyone was great. These guys were very professional and cognisant of our belongings, property, and needs. Although we are very pleased with services, it is recommended during the packing and load...

True professionals who take pride in what they do. My wife and I just moved from Brentwood to Capitol Hill with Bookstore’s help and I can’t believe how well it went. Samuel and his crew arrived fashionably early, politely introduced themselves, and sprang into action. Boxes and furniture were packe...

Our moving was local for less than 5 miles but we had a lot of heavy furniture to move. The movers were extremely nice and friendly and assisted in every small thing that we needed to get pack and move. Some of the small boxes were not taped but they still helped us tape and carry in the truck. They...

Our moving crew were great communicators, very professional, very mindful of our property, hard working, and did all of this on the 100F+ hottest day of the year. We 100% recommend them with zero reservations .

Used Bookstore Movers for a two-apartment move. We were coming from separate places into our first home together. They made the whole process incredibly smooth. From the beginning, they were friendly, transparent about costs and logistics, and just genuinely easy to be around. No surprises, no stres...
